The Vista design is better, but at first you should have good hardware before installing Vista.
And secondly there are many bugs in Vista anymore.

The didn't improve so many things so it is not necessary to buy Vista, XP is stable with less bugs than Vista and more programmes working.

I have XP too and I will never buy Vista, the design is not bad, but the important things for me are other things, like security, user friendless etc.
And these things are very bad by Vista and for XP give it till the year 2014 official updates and then it give more then one newer operating system and they would be a lot better then Vista I would say.

I have for XP the Mac OS X Design, it looks great, have nice features and don´t need a lot more ressource (only 20MB Ram more), the Vista skin for XP need with all features over 80-100MB Ram more

And for fifa editers the worst thing is that oedit doesn't work with Vista so that it isn't possible to make kit preview screens and create faces.
